Bit of a fun one to start off with!
Here are just a few last images to round off my British GP photosets. As promised, images will start going live on Redbubble after a little extra work later this week. To keep up with a few other bits and bobs, make sure to check out my website and stay in touch via the Facebook page and email mailing list.
Finally, my thoughts on the GP: It’s no secret that I am a huge Mclaren fan, and with being British as well the final outcome of the race was really quite disappointing. My other favourites - Rosberg and Kobayashi - also had a fairly miserable time of it, but it was great to see Kobayashi just getting out there again and again - he is certainly not afraid of the wet! The GP2 and GP3 races on Sunday were almost more exciting than the real thing, which turned out to very much be a tale of pit stops and tyre choices.
In photographic terms, there were a few drivers I missed this year that I have managed to catch before, so that was a little disappointing. I did however get some of the big names that I always aim for (Hamilton, Alonso, Massa, Vettel) as well as some of the new guys (Vergne, Ricciardo), so all in all it was a great weekend for new portfolio shots.
Well done to everyone that managed to brave the weather - we were not sure that we were going to be able to get out of the extremely muddy campsite, and after three straight days of the rain going straight through my waterproofs I was certainly pleased to get inside an actual house!
A quick couple of images of Jake Humphrey, Eddie Jordan, and David Coulthard doing their wingwalk for the BBC at Silverstone last week. It was spectacular to see them flying over and above us, looping round and round. They must not have been happy with the footage to start with as they went out again and again!
Here is a quick selection of images of drivers from the British GP this weekend. I will be adding more and also putting images up on RedBubble as the week continues - keep an eye out for my next post!
